I think snuff and I are both amused by the cracknsnuff shippers lol In fact, I think we should have a show, haha I kid, I kid. We actually did attempt a little fic together with anamatics like ages ago, but nothing ever came of it. I think how we write isn’t conducive to partnering because neither of us will force something, we just let it happen when the inspiration comes. Plus our schedules are ridiculous lol But I’m sure we can hook you guys up with some shenanigans pictures next weekend when “Cracknsnuff Go Clubbing”. It’s bound to be a shitshow.

So I'm watching Crime & Investigation network and they have all types of cops, us marshals, and special task force law enforcement reality type shows. I just can't believe all these fat obese guys trying to run around capturing people. I mean so wide the bullet proof vest barely fits and covers anything. Is it me or is it truly disgraceful and unprofessional. WHAT'S YOUR OPINION? I know you have worked your ads off

I think it is pretty sad, especially for officers that are still out working the streets or in positions where they may be physically challenged. You can’t expect someone to always be as fit as they were when they were younger but there are a lot of officers that just flat out let it all go to pot. It also influences the public’s opinion, they think fat cops are lazy, not good at their job etc. I would totally be a proponent of continued PT testing for officers after they get out of the academy, but, that will never happen other than incentivizing staying in shape. I don’t see any kind of punitive measures being developed by various departments.

Summary: Jane awakes in unfamiliar surroundings and all she knows is that Maura is gone.

ON FFN

Muscles in her back tensed one by one; she pressed her shoulders back and felt the point of her scapula assess the surface she was lying on…soft, padded, like a bed…but not the kind you sleep in. Jane froze. Hospital bed. Now, with a greater sense of urgency she willed her eyes open and was blinded by the white light that filled the room, though the glow was soft, her eyes weren’t adjusted and her sight went blank at the overstimulation. Tubes twined around her left arm, she could feel them, like cold plastic snakes coiled from the crook of her elbow down to her wrist. Her limbs still felt heavy, whatever sedative they had given her still wresting control from her own will. A little movement in her right arm, jerky, uncoordinated, she focused her attention on her fingers.

One…two…three…four…five…she counted, moving each finger in turn, then clenching her hand into a fist and lifting it slowly from her side. Her arm was only weight, the only way she even knew it was there, the heavy pressure that extended up into her shoulder as she moved it, other than that there was no feeling. It felt dead and useless, still numbed from the anesthetic or whatever they had given her, it felt more like some kind of prosthetic attachment than a natural part of her, but she managed to swing it across her body and suddenly there was a sensation…the tubes underneath her fingertips, the clammy soft feel of the skin of her other arm under the tubes. One…two…three…Jane counted again as she forced her fingers to close around the tubes and pull.
